The Authority

The Qatar Free Zones Authority (QFZ) is an independent authority created in 2018 to oversee and regulate the world-class free zones in Qatar, offering outstanding opportunities and benefits for businesses seeking to expand their global operations.

The QFZ team are dedicated to enabling our investors’ growth and help facilitate everything from establishment to customs to permitting. The Investor Portal allows our investors to access, request and monitor their service requests.

Chairman meets with Belarusian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs to discuss bilateral cooperation in investment attraction

H.E. Dr. Ahmad bin Mohammed Al-Sayed, Minister of State and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Qatar Free Zones Authority (QFZ), met with H.E. Evgeny Shestakov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, at Ras Bufontas Free Zone during his visit to the State of Qatar with his accompanying delegation. 

During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to enhance bilateral cooperation and the exchange of expertise between the two countries in the field of investment attraction. The meeting also highlighted the investment opportunities and outstanding benefits offered by QFZ.

The meeting was also attended by senior officials from QFZ, and was followed by an introductory tour in the Business Innovation Park at Ras Bufontas Free Zone.
