The Qatar Free Zones Authority (QFZ) is an independent authority created in 2018 to oversee and regulate the world-class free zones in Qatar, offering outstanding opportunities and benefits for businesses seeking to expand their global operations.

The QFZ team are dedicated to enabling our investors’ growth and help facilitate everything from establishment to customs to permitting. The Investor Portal allows our investors to access, request and monitor their service requests.

H.E. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Hamad Bin Faisal Al-Thani, Chief Executive Officer of Qatar Free Zones Authority (QFZ), met with Ms. Stella Li, Executive Vice President & CEO of BYD, to explore opportunities for future cooperation in advanced manufacturing and innovation within Qatar’s free zones.

The meeting highlighted QFZ’s integrated industrial ecosystem, world-class infrastructure, and competitive value proposition, reinforcing Qatar’s position as a strategic hub for global manufacturing, technology, and innovation.

The BYD delegation was also given a tour of the Business Innovation Park, where they explored the state-of-the-art facilities and innovation-driven environment that support the growth of high-value industries within Qatar’s free zones.
