First Speedboat Manufactured in MARSA is Delivered to Client

We are proud in the free zones to provide all means of support for the Qatari private sector to enable it to play an effective role in advancing the economic development. The private sector is one of our priorities” said QFZA Deputy CEO Abdullah al-Misnad. He added, “Doha Craft was the first company to join our MARSA port, and it has made tremendous progress. It is an example of the capabilities of the local private sector and the support it receives from the government.

Mr. Rashid Hamad Al Meadadi, Managing Director, Doha Craft Boat Manufacturing, said, “This is an exciting milestone for Doha Craft, as we deliver our first boat built in our Qatar Free Zones factory to a foreign buyer. I am particularly proud that we were able to finish this project despite the challenging circumstances in our world today; it is testament to the dedication and perseverance of Qatari investors and the great, business-friendly environment provided by Qatar Free Zones Authority.”

Doha Craft manufactures both pleasure craft, military and police boats from its factory in Umm Alhoul. It is currently in the process of expanding its operations, and expects to reach a production capacity of fifty boats a year.
